Research BootCamp©

SOTA's Research BootCamp© is an intense, one-week program designed to help doctoral students and junior scholars develop sound research agendas. Senior scholars, statisticians, and theorists facilitate workshops intended to help doctoral students conceptualize and design components of their dissertations including research questions/hypotheses, literature review, instrumentation, methodology and data analysis.

These senior scholars also assist junior scholars in the development of manuscripts for publication. In addition to the research component, each participant is linked with a senior scholar mentor to help cultivate a mentoring relationship.

Customize your campus Research BootCamp© to fit the needs of your emerging scholars. Previous campus BootCamps have been 2-day events open to all doctoral students, to one week programs for women of color.  Contact us to discuss how we can tailor our workshops to suit your needs.
