Sisters of the Academy (SOTA) Institute is honored to collaborate with the Textbook & Academic Authors Association (TAA) in our shared dedication to empowering Black women in academia. Through this partnership, we unite our efforts to drive positive change, amplify voices, and uplift Black women scholars on their academic journeys.

About Textbook & Academic Authors Association (TAA)

The Textbook & Academic Authors Association (TAA) is a renowned advocate for academic authors and educators, dedicated to supporting excellence in writing, publishing, and education. TAA's commitment to advancing scholarship aligns perfectly with our mission to empower Black women in academia. TAA provides professional development resources, events, and networking opportunities for textbook authors and authors of scholarly journal articles and books. Member benefits include webinars, presentations on demand, academic and textbook writing grants, a templates & samples resource library, a professional directory, an online member community, a quarterly print newsletter, and a blog, Abstract.
